How much do artists make for selling art to wholesale retailers?

I was contacted by a company that sells art in the hospitality market, hotels, large corporations etc they are interested in my artwork. Does anyone know how this market works and how much artists typically make? Can anyone explain the process so I am prepared or let me know of any resources to find the info?

let me try to answer your question
as you know artist not make lot of money in beginning ,only if they popular already.if that you want to know,
about making profite is by precentase depending how the deal and the price that you agree also by contract,all big company is smart all by contract sale ,that why they hire business manager
