knocking down the maths building #1

another manchester landmark is on the way down. This time it's the statuesque Mathematics Building of Manchester University on Oxford Road. Designed by Scherrer & Hicks, it was built in 1967-68, and has always kept a stern if benelovent watch over the area - at least that's always been my feeling.
