Question by phusion: Changing careers in Sims 3, do you have to start over from level 1?

I wish I started a different career path. The hours of my current one (Criminal) leave no room to hang out with the family. If I were to change careers, would I have to restart from level one with low pay and work back up?

Blatantly, yes. As always.

I don't personally like it. But that's one thing the Sims franchise lacks: job interviews.

Eh, Sims 4 maybe?
